The Canberra Airport Open Day, held on April 18th, 2026, was nothing short of spectacular. With 36,000 tickets made available, the event saw a full house as families, aviation enthusiasts, and curious visitors poured into the airport grounds.

The Australian Cadet Corps will host a NSW Police Pathways Day at National Headquarters in Narwee, giving cadets direct access to specialist police units, live demonstrations and recruitment insights.

The Tuggerah Lakes Cadet Unit has received more than $64,000 in NSW Government funding to enhance security at its Watanobbi facility. The upgrade will strengthen site safety, protect equipment and allow volunteers to focus on delivering quality youth programs for the local community.

The Australian Cadet Corps is now an approved provider for the NSW Active and Creative Kids Voucher Program! Families can use their vouchers to help cover cadet membership and weekly activity fees, making our programs more affordable and accessible.

June 13th saw our annual commissioner’s dinner for 2025. The night was filled with awards, promotions and recognitions. We had dignitaries, families, friends and most importantly cadets with an attendance over 150.

The 2025 Cadets Camp has concluded. This year we gathered in Appin at Cataract to conduct field, drill and education training along with a variety of recreational activities.

We’re proud to launch our new syllabus: seven regimes, clear learning pathways, and a stronger Leadership Training Program designed to help every cadet grow, achieve, and lead with confidence.
