The Australian Cadet Corps will host a NSW Police Pathways Day at National Headquarters in Narwee, giving cadets direct access to specialist police units, live demonstrations and recruitment insights.
Cadets participate in drill practice to prepare them for parades like ANZAC Day and memorial services.
Education subjects not normally taught in school are taught to Cadets.
Cadets learn the fundamentals of flight and participate in aviation experiences to learn practically.
Cadets participate in outdoor adventure activities like hiking, camping, orienteering and more.
Cadets can elect to improve their leadership qualities and progress through the ranks.
Cadets learn the concepts of maritime safety and participate in maritime experiences to learn practically.
Cadets learn the basics of music and can join a marching band.
Cadets learn how to work with others with a spirt of teamwork at the core of everything we do.

The Tuggerah Lakes Cadet Unit has received more than $64,000 in NSW Government funding to enhance security at its Watanobbi facility. The upgrade will strengthen site safety, protect equipment and allow volunteers to focus on delivering quality youth programs for the local community.
