The Australian Cadet Corps Inc. aims to develop community spirit, leadership and capability among the youth of Australia.

We do this through ensuring we deliver on the following objectives:
Physical & Social Development
Provide extracurricular activities for the physical and social development of youth members.
Academic Opportunities
Facilitate academic opportunities with education subjects not readily available in schools.
Develop Better Citizens
Develop self-disciplined and upstanding citizens through community-focused events and activities.
Inspire Future Leaders
Inspire future leaders by providing leadership development programs.
A focus on what interests the Cadet
The Australian Cadet Corps focuses on delivering a comprehensive approach to what interests the Cadets. Educational Subjects and Courses are available to assist Cadets in a pathway into Emergency Services, Defence, Private and Commercial Aviation and Maritime sectors. Cadets can join any of our by partnered cadetship programs at the age of 16.

The Core Qualities of Cadets
Cadets are expected to embody the three core qualities of the Australian Cadet Corps: integrity, discipline, and respect. These core qualities are the focus of all internal culture within the Cadet Corps.
Integrity
I always choose honesty, display decency, and demonstrate strong moral principles with all my actions.
Discipline
I always choose order, display authority, and demonstrate self-control to achieve my goals.
Respect
I always choose honour, display confidence, and demonstrate pride in my own abilities and worth.
What Cadets Do
As a Cadet in the Cadet Corps, you will participate in activities that will make you a better person. From camps, to flying days, to band practice and full on laser tag wars, the experiences can be had nowhere else.
Parades / Marching
Cadets participate in drill practice to prepare them for parades like ANZAC Day and memorial services.
Education
Education subjects not normally taught in school are taught to Cadets.
Aviation Experiences
Cadets learn the fundamentals of flight and participate in aviation experiences to learn practically.
Field Activities
Cadets participate in outdoor adventure activities like hiking, camping, orienteering and more.
Leadership Training
Cadets can elect to improve their leadership qualities and progress through the ranks.
Maritime Experiences
Cadets learn the concepts of maritime safety and participate in maritime experiences to learn practically.
Music / Band
Cadets learn the basics of music and can join a marching band.
Social Activities
Cadets learn how to work with others with a spirt of teamwork at the core of everything we do.
