The fundraising purpose includes assisting with reasonable travel, accommodation, participation and associated costs connected with the cadets’ attendance at services commemorating the 85th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The raffle opens on Thursday 23 July 2026.
Entries close at 5:00 pm AEDT on Friday 27 November 2026, or earlier if all available numbered tickets have been sold.
Tickets and payments received after the closing time may not be accepted.
All ticket sellers must return sold ticket butts, unsold tickets and raffle proceeds to the Promoter before the draw. NSW guidance requires these items to be returned before a lottery draw takes place.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open to members of the public, including members and supporters of Australian Cadet Corps Incorporated.
A person is not eligible to enter if the person is:
- directly responsible for conducting the raffle;
- responsible for conducting or determining the winners of the draw; or

Tickets are:
- $10 for one numbered ticket; or

6. Valid entries
An entry is valid when:
- an official numbered raffle ticket has been issued;
- the required ticket price has been paid;
- the ticket butt has been completed with sufficient information to identify or contact the entrant; and
- the entry has been received for inclusion in the draw.
Entrants are responsible for ensuring their contact details are accurate and legible.

The total prize pool is valued at $5,150.
The prizes are:
- First prize: an original Ken Tucker painting depicting the theme of the attack on Pearl Harbor, valued at $5,000.

The draw will be conducted randomly from all valid numbered ticket entries received before entries close.
The first valid ticket drawn will receive first prize. The second valid ticket drawn will receive second prize. The third valid ticket drawn will receive third prize.
Once a ticket has won a prize, that ticket will be removed and cannot win another prize. An entrant who holds multiple tickets may win more than one prize where separate valid ticket numbers are drawn.
The draw will be supervised and witnessed by authorised representatives of the Promoter who are not eligible to enter.
The winners do not need to be present.
9. Winner verification
A person claiming a prize may be asked to provide:
- the corresponding numbered ticket;
- their name and contact details;
- photographic identification, where reasonably required; and
- any other reasonable information needed to verify their entitlement to the prize.
Where the original ticket cannot be produced, the Promoter may consider the information recorded on the retained ticket butt and other available evidence.
The Promoter will determine entitlement fairly and in accordance with these terms.
10. Winner notification
The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact each winner using the telephone number, mobile number or email address recorded on the winning ticket butt.
Initial contact will ordinarily be attempted within two business days after the draw.
Reasonable contact efforts may include:
- telephone calls;
- voicemail or text messages;
- email; and
Entrants are responsible for monitoring the contact details they provided and for advising the Promoter of any changes before the draw.
11. Publication of results
The winning ticket numbers and sufficient information to identify the results will be published on this webpage within two business days after the draw.
Published information may include:
- the winning ticket number;
- the winner’s first initial and surname;
- the prize won; and
- the draw date.
A winner’s full telephone number, email address or other private contact information will not be published.
Results of any subsequent redraw will also be published on this webpage.
12. Claiming a prize
Each winner must claim their prize within 30 calendar days from the date of the relevant draw.
For the original draw conducted on 29 November 2026, prizes must be claimed by 7:00 pm AEDT on Tuesday 29 December 2026.
A prize is considered claimed when:
- the winner has been successfully identified;
- the winner has confirmed acceptance of the prize; and
- any reasonable verification requested by the Promoter has been completed.
Claiming a prize and physically collecting or receiving the prize may occur on different dates.
13. Collection and delivery
The first-prize painting will ordinarily be collected from Australian Cadet Corps Headquarters at 7 Bryant Street, Narwee NSW 2209, by appointment.
The winner and the Promoter may agree to another reasonable collection or delivery arrangement.
Unless the Promoter agrees otherwise in writing:
- any postage, freight, insurance or specialised transport requested by a winner will be at the winner’s expense;
- the Promoter is not responsible for travel costs incurred when claiming or collecting a prize; and
- risk in a prize passes to the winner when the prize is collected or delivered.
The Promoter will take reasonable care of each prize until it is awarded.
14. Unclaimed prizes
A prize will be treated as unclaimed where:
- the Promoter cannot identify or contact the winner after making reasonable efforts;
- the winner does not respond within the 30-day claim period;
- the winner declines the prize; or
- the winner does not complete reasonable verification requirements within the claim period.
The original winning ticket will cease to have an entitlement to the prize once the applicable 30-day claim period expires.
15. Redrawing an unclaimed prize
Where a prize from the original draw remains unclaimed after 30 calendar days, the Promoter will conduct a further random draw for that prize.
The first redraw will occur within 90 calendar days of the original draw, meaning no later than Saturday 27 February 2027.
The redraw date, time and location will be published on this webpage before the redraw. Unless another location is announced, the redraw will be conducted at Australian Cadet Corps Headquarters, 7 Bryant Street, Narwee NSW 2209.
The redraw will include all valid original entries other than:
- the ticket whose entitlement to the prize has expired; and
- tickets that have already received that particular prize.
The replacement winner will have a new claim period of 30 calendar days from the date of the redraw.
If the redrawn prize remains unclaimed at the end of that new 30-day period, another redraw will be conducted within 90 calendar days after the preceding redraw.
The same cycle will continue:
- the prize is drawn;
- the winner has 30 calendar days to claim it;
- if it remains unclaimed, another draw is conducted within 90 calendar days of the preceding draw; and
- the new winner receives a fresh 30-day claim period.
The prize will not become the property of the Promoter, be substituted for fundraising proceeds or be used for another purpose merely because it remains unclaimed. It will be securely retained until it is ultimately awarded to a valid winner.
NSW guidance permits rules to establish a claim period and a subsequent draw for an unclaimed prize, provided reasonable efforts are made to contact the winner and the prize is kept for the period stated in the rules.
16. Changes to the raffle
The Promoter may make a reasonable change to the raffle where necessary because of circumstances beyond its control, provided the raffle continues to be conducted fairly and impartially.
This may include a necessary change to:
- the draw location;
- a draw or redraw date;
- the method of conducting the draw;
- the availability or value of a prize; or
- arrangements for notifying or awarding prizes.
Any material change will be published on this webpage and reasonable steps will be taken to notify affected entrants before the relevant activity occurs.
Where a prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable law and appropriate notification.
NSW guidance requires reasonable notice or public availability of changes to lottery rules or arrangements.
17. Cancellation
The Promoter may cancel the raffle where it cannot reasonably or lawfully proceed.
If the raffle is cancelled without a draw being conducted, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to refund the ticket prices paid by identifiable entrants.
An entrant requesting a refund may be required to produce their ticket or other reasonable evidence of purchase.
18. Personal information
Personal information collected through raffle tickets will be used for purposes including:

Requests concerning access to or correction of personal information may be submitted in writing to the Office of the Secretary.

The Secretary, or an appropriately appointed person who was not directly involved in the matter, will consider the available information and provide a decision within a reasonable period.
The Promoter’s decision is final, subject to any rights available under applicable law. Nothing in these terms prevents a person from making a complaint to NSW Fair Trading or exercising another legal right.
20. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible for:
- lost, stolen, damaged or illegible purchaser ticket portions;
- incorrect contact information supplied by an entrant;

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, statutory right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

- ticket sales and gross proceeds;
- reasonable raffle expenses;
- the prizes and their values;
- the date on which winners were determined;
- winning ticket numbers;

- proceeds applied for the benefiting organisation.
Raffle proceeds will be managed through an appropriate Australian Cadet Corps Incorporated financial account and used for the stated fundraising purpose.
NSW guidance requires gaming proceeds to be deposited with an authorised deposit-taking institution within two business days after receipt and identifies the records that should be retained.
22. Acceptance of these terms
By purchasing or accepting a raffle ticket, an entrant acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review these terms and agrees that their participation is governed by them.
These terms are available free of charge on the Australian Cadet Corps website.
