In a surprising turn of events, the National Leadership Team (NLT) hosted an extraordinary sausage sizzle at Bunnings on Sunday, 21st May. What started as a slow start soon transformed into an overwhelming success as crowds flocked in from 11am onwards. The sizzling sausages, cooked to perfection by none other than the esteemed Commissioner Alyward, left everyone craving for more.
The day began with modest expectations, but the sheer number of attendees shocked even the most optimistic organisers. The crowd just kept pouring in, leaving the NLT members and their two dedicated helpers in awe. Realising they needed to replenish their supplies, the team made numerous dashes to the local supermarket to keep up with the unprecedented demand. The scent of sizzling sausages in the air created an irresistible allure that drew people from far and wide.
As the day unfolded, the Bunnings sausage sizzle turned into an astounding triumph. A staggering total of over 600 sausages were cooked to perfection, leaving attendees licking their lips in satisfaction. The tireless efforts of the NLT members and their helpers, who worked tirelessly throughout the day, were pivotal to the event’s resounding success.
Over $2,000 raised!
To everyone’s delight, the event raised an impressive sum of over $2000. The funds will be used to provide the final supply of uniforms, ensuring that the National Leadership Team can continue their admirable work with pride.
