“Can we do this every year? Did you see me behind the tree shooting them?”

Laser Tag Night planned for next year too.
The Tuggerah Lakes Cadet Unit recently hosted an exciting laser tag night for cadets from all over the Central Coast NSW. The event, held at the Units Head Quarters, saw cadets engage in thrilling battles using state-of-the-art laser tag equipment.
The night began with a brief training session, where cadets learned the basics of laser tag and the rules of the game. They were then divided into teams and sent into the arena, filled with obstacles and hiding spots.
The cadets were armed with laser tag guns that fired infrared beams, and they had to work together to outsmart and outshoot their opponents. The game was fast-paced and action-packed, with cadets dodging and weaving through the course while trying to hit their targets.
At the end of the night, the team with the most points was declared the winner. The cadets who took part in the event said they had a great time, and many have already requested that more laser tag nights be held in the future.
“It was an amazing experience,” said Corporal Christopher Renshaw, a participant in the event. “I never thought I’d enjoy laser tag as much as I did. It was a great way to bond with my fellow cadets and build teamwork skills.”
The Australian Cadet Corps is a youth development program that provides young people with opportunities to learn valuable life skills, gain confidence and self-discipline, and develop a sense of responsibility and civic duty. The organisation is open to young people aged 8 and over, and is a great way for them to gain valuable experiences that will serve them well in their future careers.
The laser tag night was just one of many activities that the ACC organises to provide cadets with fun and exciting experiences while building valuable skills. The ACC plans to host more laser tag nights in the future, as well as other exciting events for cadets to enjoy.
