NSW Active and Creative Kids Vouchers
Australian Cadet Corps Now Accepting NSW Active and Creative Kids Vouchers
We’re excited to announce that the Australian Cadet Corps (ACC) is now an approved provider under the NSW Government’s Active and Creative Kids Voucher Program. This means that eligible families can use their vouchers to help cover the cost of their child’s cadet membership and weekly activities.
What is the Active and Creative Kids Voucher?
The program, administered by Service NSW, provides eligible families with two $50 vouchers per school-aged child each year. The purpose is to encourage participation in structured sport, recreation, creative, and cultural activities — supporting children’s wellbeing, growth, and development. With “cadets” specifically listed as an eligible activity, this program is a great fit for the Australian Cadet Corps.

Who is Eligible?
To receive a voucher, a child must:
Be a NSW resident,
Be aged between 4.5 and 18 years, and
Be listed on a Medicare card with a parent, guardian or carer who receives Family Tax Benefit Part A or Part B.
Families can apply for vouchers online via their MyServiceNSW Account. Once issued, the voucher is available digitally or by email.
How Vouchers Can Be Used in the ACC
At the Australian Cadet Corps, our fee structure includes a $50 annual membership levy per cadet plus the weekly Unit subscriptions to support training and operating expenses. Active and Creative Kids vouchers can be applied directly to reduce these costs, making it easier for families to access the full range of cadet activities.
How to Submit Your Voucher to Us
Once you’ve received your voucher from Service NSW, simply provide it to us by completing our secure online form:
👉 cadets.org.au/nswvoucher
You’ll be asked to enter your child’s details along with the voucher number. Our team will process the voucher with Service NSW, and the value will be applied against your cadet’s membership and subscription fees.
Your Cadet Unit must first be approved to receive the vouchers. If you don’t see your Cadet Unit listed on the submission form, please contact your Unit Commanding Officer. They may be able to submit your voucher for you.
Voucher payments are subject to NSW Government approval. Processing can take up to 3 weeks from approval, so please allow up to 30 days from the date of your submission for funds to appear in your Unit’s bank account.
Building Opportunities for Young Australians
Becoming part of this program reinforces our commitment to providing affordable, accessible opportunities for young people to develop leadership, resilience, creativity, and community spirit. We encourage all eligible families to apply for their vouchers and take advantage of this great initiative.
Together, we can continue to make cadets a rewarding and inclusive experience for every young Australian.
